“So you weren’t out at the little one-rooms at all?”

“I went to Sacred Heart School up on the hill, which was a one-room class with eight grades in it. And there was probably 30-some children at that time. And when I left that school I think there was about 50 in the classroom. So it was full, eight grades, one teacher.”
